Yulu PR Named ‘Corporate Social Responsibility Agency of the Year’ for 2018

Nov. 07, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Last week, Yulu Public Relations was awarded the ‘Grand Prize’ at PR Daily’s Annual Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Awards, taking home the title for ‘CSR Agency of the Year.’ A three-time recipient of this honorary title, Yulu was recognized this year for its involvement in advancing communications through Impact RelationsTM, setting new industry standards, and using communications as a catalyst for positive social and environmental impact.

Yulu PR is a driving force behind Impact Relations, a new discipline of communications that influences positive social and environmental impact. The goal for Impact Relations practitioners is to drive action and advocacy through communications. Yulu worked alongside industry leaders to develop a framework and guide for amplifying impact through communications, which is available to communications practitioners globally at www.ImpactRelations.org.

“We’re honored to be named PR Daily’s CSR Agency of the Year, especially given the many impactful campaigns submitted this year,” said Melissa Orozco, Founder and Creative Director at Yulu Public Relations Inc. “We’re pleased to see the industry continuing to be held to new standards for authentic communications, a movement we fully support and champion through our work on Impact Relations. We invite other communicators to join this movement, and lend their voice to the evolution of Impact Relations.”

Yulu PR was chosen from a wide pool of entries to receive the Grand Prize of the CSR Agency of the Year, for the ingenuity and impact of its work with partners like the Red Bull Amaphiko AcademyLucky Iron Fishenso Creative.Eco, the Commission for Environmental Cooperation.

“Out of many outstanding submissions, we found Yulu PR’s work to truly set a new standard of excellence for all corporate communications professionals. We congratulate them and look forward to seeing their future successes in this field,” said Justine Figueroa, senior marketing coordinator for awards programs at Ragan Communications.

Ragan’s Corporate Social Responsibility Awards celebrates teams, organizations, and consultants who have redefined the field with their groundbreaking work. As a winner in the program, Yulu PR joins an elite group of past winners, including Alex + Ani, International Paper, St. Joseph’s Health, Bayer CropScience, Arrow Electronics, Alliance Data, Viacom, U.S. Bank, and Toronto Pearson Airport.
