Keela has just announced the availability of its new fundraising course, which is a completely free and self-directed way to gain Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) credits.

The digital course is available to anyone through their online portal and covers topics ranging from Audience Identification, Website, Email, Social Media, Major Campaigns, Stewardship, and more.

Whether you’re just getting started in nonprofit work, or you’re a seasoned fundraising professional this course will help you update your skill set and ensure you’re leveraging the most modern techniques.

After successful completion of the course, the participant is eligible to receive 15 CFRE credits.

A CFRE certificate is an internationally recognized designation for fundraising professionals to ensure the integrity, ethics, and highest standard for the philanthropic sector. Many CFREs report earning a higher income than those without, and according to the Association of Fundraising Professionals’ 2019 Compensation and Benefits Study, CFRE certified fundraisers in Canada earn on average just under $25,000* more than their non-certified colleagues.

The credits gained through Keela’s course can be applied to initial certification, or ongoing education required for recertification every 3 years.

The course modules are released on a weekly schedule, with the first two available immediately. Through the training, participants will be taught by Keela’s long-time employees from various roles, including their Chief Operations Officer, Marketing Director, Head of Community Engagement, and others.
