Do you want to have fun?
Do you want to feel good by getting involved in a great cause?
With an auction of incredible prizes and fabulous dining, all in a spectacular riverfront setting, you don’t want to miss out on the 2019 Cocktails for a Cure fundraiser! Last year’s event sold out and this year we only have 100 tickets available.
This is the key fundraiser for the Tumour Foundation of BC, which supports the children and families affected with neurofibromatosis, a genetic disorder causing tumour growth in and on the body.
Your ticket to the event includes:
- A buffet dinner of fresh West Coast cuisine from the onsite Boathouse Restaurant
- Free champagne
- Soulful tunes of The Blue Mistral Quartet and,
- Lots of opportunities to bid on unique items at the silent and live auction, all in support of the Foundation.
The live auction will be hosted by the talented Mario Inutuzzi. Mario is a wide receiver with the BC Lions and a talented auctioneer who raises thousands of dollars each year for charities. He makes the live auction fun and interactive, so even if you’ve never experienced a live auction, you have nothing to fear!
Neurofibromatosis (NF) is a genetic condition that causes tumours to grow on the nervous system. These tumours are often inoperable and can be fatal. NF affects more than two million people worldwide, making it more common than Duchenne muscular dystrophy, cystic fibrosis, and Huntington’s disease combined. However, it is not as well known as any of these conditions – even among medical professionals. There is no cure for NF.
Proceeds will support programs of research, education, support, and awareness at the Tumour Foundation of BC.
Don’t miss out on the event! Only 100 tickets are available and last year’s event SOLD OUT!
Tickets are only available online and early bird prices end February 1st.
Help us in the fight to #endNF.
